The first one reinforces why we're told birds evolved from dinosaurs, - and no. 4 is just SO cute...gif "Smile")
The ducklings were running and stumbling all over the place, Mum was busy trying to get them together.
I am hoping the black-necked swan manages to hatch the eggs this year, last year they all failed. Mind you last year the nest was even nearer the path.
I hope it works out better for them this year, Joe.
Never been at LWWT - just seen it on TV!

Catherine LWWT is easy to get to. It takes me about 1.5 - 2 hours using public transport. A friend gets there in about 3/4 hour in his car. there are several hides for watching the wild birds and the collection birds are in open compounds.
What a lovely set of shots - and it's always hard to get good shots of black feathers. I like the 6th one ".. I can fly, I can FLY!!!... errm, no, I can't", and of course the last one is beautifully close-up, a wonderful shot.
If I still lived in London, this would have been fairly easy for me to get to - it would just wear me out before I got there, now

I had never seen, or heard of, Blacknecked Swans until you posted your pics of them here! I'd even though that they were a cross between a Mute and a Black Swan.
I've now Googled and found out more though. Must try to win a trip to South America to see them in the wild!.gif "Big Grin")
