    Have separated this from the other holiday thread, as the audio files don't seem to mix well in the same thread.

    Thought it was worthy of posting for the song alone, the picture is a little hazey, due to the slight mist in the air and the distance involved, he was perched on the ridge of the big barn opposite.

    Lovely songs they sing. We have one in the lkittle wood and he sings his heart out. He wasn't there today.

    Ah, now i know what the bird is that sings in my garden first thing, have never managed to catch a glimpse, but it is always there singing.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I have a favorite spot where ther are a pair of song thrushesand occasionally ther is a mistle thrush.
    They like to bath in the little Jacuzzi in the brook.
