    Default TRapped Sparrow

This poor little thing chose the wrong stuff to fill the nest with (or maybe the male did, I don't know how they build). I spotted her from a bedroom window. Unfortunately, apart from the fact that she would fly up to the roof if we got near, the way the window opens means that she would still be shielded by the window so she couldn't be reached. Before I could arrange anything she seemed to have got loose - I checked around to see if she were anywhere nearby but couldn't spot her. Crossed fingers!

She really was well and truly stuck, let's hope it all worked out well.

I did wonder if she got taken by something - but then, that's nature and if there's one thing we are not short of around here it's replacement Sparrows. Sad, though.
