    Default Starling feeding activity

This Starling was calling its little heart out so I was standing watching for a while. It was obviously nesting there because it flew off to get food and went under the roof. But, what kept me watching was the routine.

It landed on the aerial, then came down to the lower roof edge, went in, came out with empty beak then started to call. It then ran up the side of the roof, stopped half way and called a bit, then went up to the top. From here it flew to the aerial... and started it all again. I suppose it's a security thing, but it IS funny

Probably Louise. I was thinking that as I was reading your write up. Birds will do all sorts of things to confuse would be predators I guess.
    Lovely captures

The constant landing on the aerial seems to have had a detrimental affect.
