    This little chap/lady had just been fed by dad. I wasn't quick enough but it was up very high

    Yes. Thank you he is cute and early though usually here in the Southwest it's warm this time of year

    The weather keeps changing down here. One minute it's like summer then we get this icy wind and it's freezing. I hope he survives

    It is just 1c here just now - n the sun too, Beryl! I know they say it has been a mild winter, but although temperatures may not have gone as low as usual, they have not risen either, and I have never known a colder and wetter April - anywhere!

    The cold wind blowing down from the Arctic is to bring sleet and snow to the eastern side of the country today. Unbelievable to here of 'global warming'!

    I really worry about all birds trying to raise young in such circumstances.
