Taken at Kelsey Park
Thanks Ian . It is a very pretty waterfall Where the lake falls back into the river Beck
All waterfalls end up in the rivers but one that does so via a lake, small or large would be a lovely place to visit. You are very lucky to live were you do. Then again we all live in a special area of the UK. So varied in its landscapes and wildlife.
There is a field trip on Kelsey Park I did last year.
The river Beck feeds the Lake . The lake was purposely built for the manor house many years ago, so the Beck enters at the far end and restarts at the entrance to the park runs off into eventuall with the East Beck into the river Thames
Luckly up here. Countryside is far too rugged to be dominated by Humans. We have a waterfall (and I use the term "waterfall" very loosley), that is reputed to be the highest in the UK,however the amount of water that tumbles over it is pathetic. Access to it is through a Pub. So maybe they have found a way to dispose of the surplace water i.e toilets over the top. Its called Coldroun Snout and if anyone is in my area......Give it a miss.( It really is the highest waterfall in the UK.)....but still give it a miss
