I love the way the head stays steady and the tail stays flat - while the wings flap wildly to keep it in flight!

Beautifully caught - it's always great to catch a clear shot of them in flight. As Catherine says, it's amazing to see the contradiction between the calm head and the flappy winds - it's just like the whole calm above the water and all action below
