    Default Tracking the Glossy Ibis

Well eventually got to see the Glossy Ibis at Freeman's Marsh, Hungerford, didn't find it until it was nearly dark, but managed a couple of poor quality photos.

Would have managed probably more photos, had two nitwits with boisterous dogs not decided to make their way over to me and ask what I was trying to photograph, at which point the Ibis took flight. People are amazing, with a laugh one of them said, oh, we appeared to have scared it off.

Anyway, I will return in better light conditions and hopefully knucklehead free conditions.

    You did very well, Rolf!

I'd have called these 'great shots' if they were mine!

Thanks Catherine, but still would like to get some shots which do the bird justice.

Well I'm heading off to Hungerford a little later, want to get a better shot. Below are links to the three West Berks rarities.
