Default A dull wet hour at Lavell's lake

Not much on view from the Teal hide, apart from some beautiful Teal and smart Gadwall ducks, walked along the Loddon to see if I could spot the Firecrest.

No Firecrest to be seen, but there was a Goldcrest, spent a while in the rain trying to catch a quick photo, but it was way to quick for me and I only managed a couple of shots.

Then on to the new hide, not a bright day, so little chance of decent photos, particularly given the rain, but got a couple of flight shots, Widgeon and Teal, just missed a cracking Little Egret flight shot, but I'll get him next time.

    The dog is a Eurasia.

You did well on such a day, Rolf - both to see the species you did and to record them so well!

    Love the Goldcrest shots.

I bet Eurasia made a mess of her owner's car afterwards!
