Snapped this little'n a few days ago in the garden, I have a healthy crop of youngsters this year.

Good to hear you have a 'healthy crop of youngsters' this year Rolf. Last time I heard about the House Sparrow it was a cause for concern and probably still is, but not at your house......excellent!

Fortunately the roof style on this estate, lends itself to nesting birds Pete, plus there are still a large percentage of houses which have not had new soffits and barge boards. Thinking of putting up a couple of Sparrow boxes for next year.
