    Default Fieldfare - the first of winter 2015

    Spotted this in the garden this morning - just before 8am. Not very good photos as taken in a hurry and through the double glazing - but it's still a Fieldfare!

    I have just put out 8 halves of apples, some grapes which are past their best, loads more sunflower hearts and lots of dried mealworms. These birds are starving - and it has to be colder tonight! Brrr!
