Today's Buddleia visitors

Been keeping an eye on who's visiting, spotted these three today, along with the ubiquitous Painted Lady and Large White.

Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock and Brimstone. I hadn't realised how hairy the small Tortoiseshell is, made it difficult to focus.

Nice shots there, Rolf - no breeze like I had yesterday, then? Which lens were you using?

Thanks, I use the 70-300 mm most of the time Louise, can focus down to 1 metre.

Cool. I like the brimstone. It doesn't have the pattern, but the colour is lovely and unusual.. and it has 'pointy bits'

LOL, yes, I like the Brimstone too, can't easily get an open wing shot though.

The look almost edible like a cabbage leaf
I captured a Brimstone two days ago but the sun was so bright it blew.
