Here is some nice pictures from the big car meet we had this weekend in Jönköping
Perhaps time for a "Guess the car
That might be quite fun, Crister, but I'd need my husband to help with most IDs I guess!
We stay near Beaulieu, the National Motor Museum. You should come over to see it - especially in September;
Events / International Autojumble
My first car was a Triumph Herald, and my boyfriend (that was 1960s) had one of the first Saabs in the area. We often watched those in the RAC Rally here at that time... Seems eons ago though!
Yes, they did make some good cars back then !
Those are mostly from the 60th but a Cadillac is always a Caddy
Then, not now
Have a good look at the Ford with the metal cab, very rare and very expensive today !
In my opinion Ford was the better designer but I must lift my hat for the 1957 Cadillac and the 1956 Chevy Bel Air.
They must have used an awful lot of chrome polish these days! American cars were adorned with complicated bumpers which must have been difficult to keep clean and expensive to repair.
Is your interest in cars or bikes? Classic, or any type?

Yes I do have an old Ford Mustang. A Mach 1 made in 1973
With a big V8 gulping gasoline
only drive in the summer and not that much, perhaps a few 100 km
Very nice too!
I understand why you don't use it too often though - apart from the insurance and wishing to keep it in pristine condition, it must gobble up the litres of fuel!
I hope you will have lots of good weather to be able to enjoy it this year, Crister, and as many happy, safe miles of driving as your wallet can afford!
- Forgot to add - that Indianapolis pace car (pics below) looks interesting!
Yes, that is a 1965 Mustang Fresh from the line.
Worth a forune now, only 6 was used.
