    Default HDR: Industrial Skies

Took this at Redcar - After adding hdr treatment, I was really pleased with the way the sky and smoke came out. This one was one exposure only with nothing done to it apart from the HRD Program.

I like that Spooks, really striking, ran it through Noise Ninja to see what it did with the grain, did quite well.

Just tried it with neat image and it did a slightly better job, but my noise ninja is using the E-500 profiles, so probably not surprising.

I didn't have neat image installed on the main PC, upstairs, but have it on the laptop. I did run it through NI, but I guess I did something wrong.. LOL

You can download the profiles for your camera from the neat image site spooks.I use them for both the 300D and the FZ50.Once you have loaded them (the instructions are on the site)you need to select auto match profile from the drop down list at the top (it defaults to auto profile)

I have the profiles for the D70s, DD, but I must have been having a Noddy n Big Ears moment... LOL think I pressed the wrong button and didn't apply the filter correctly.

I have just posted a new image, this time with the Noise Correction working. Made a heck of a difference to the final image.

    Latest HDR Image

Thanks for the help and info tho. Appreciate it.
