Red-crested Pochard - Netta rufina

Captured on the Exe estuary all on his own.
Quite a few birders came t see it as down here in Exmouth this is a rarity. I have been told there are 5 in St Jame Park in London 3 of which are male

I know this thread is a few months old. But thought I'd chip in, anyway. There is a resident RNG on Connaught Water in Epping Forest, near Chingford. It is always there, whenever I visit the lake.
