    Default Sparrowhawk.

If iv'e pressed all the right keys you should all be able to see a Sparrowhawk taken from the Allen Hide at Leighton Moss last year.

Well I did press all the right keys with an excellent result. Congratulations to all concerned with the running of this website. I have already noted the ease with which 'things' can be done here......congratulations once again.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Super pic Pete, well done it posed really nice for you didn't it.
I was not so lucky when I visited Leighton Moss early this year.

Thanks for this Babs. I know about five members now, so slowly building up my aquaintances on the website. As for your suggestion about Rolf 'moving' the pic....please go ahead if this is the right thing to do.

    Nice capture Pete.

They are amazingly powerful little Hawks, I managed to film a male stuck in my garden shed last summer and watching the down force of his wings was an education.

Pleased you're finding the site operation user friendly.

Thanks Rolf. Are you able to 'move' the pic more appropriately to the 'Birds' section ?

I go along with 'stunning' as a description for the Sparrowhawks eyes andy. But every time I see one perched like this I always feel if I was a small bird staring this creature in the eye then that alone would be enough to frighten me to death. I prefer to call the eyes of this bird....EVIL.
