    Default Female Blackbird still nest building

    I think the nest's over there... but I can't quite see !

    Another one of Mrs Blackbird and her nest building, and one of where the nest is located behind the thicker area. I did try to get one of Mr Blackbird who is now on the scene, but he's one quick sucker

    She cannot possibly see where she is going there!

    (We're letting all kinds of Ivy grow over the back fence - thinking of the needs of birds, of course! Anyway, in our last garden, I think the Ivies actually held the fence up in the end!)

    Yes Ivy is very popular with birds like the Blackbird, when my neighbour's Ivy was taken down (it had pulled the fence over), there were three old nests in it.
