The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Goldfinch

Captured yesterday morning in my garden, nice to see their numbers increasing in the garden

Excellent as expected Babs. Saw an amazing 350+ in one flock recently in our area at Glasson Dock (digidark knows this place) an excellent record of the Goldfinch and by far the best/highest number I ever saw.

Babs hi, it's interesting you have a hide, tho' my garden is very small I also erected a hide and I spend many happy hours looking (mainly) and leaning my photography, needless to say I have a very understanding wife
