Making a silk purse from a sows ear

The original picture was taken over a security fence.I was at the top of a very muddy bank,just outside the fence.The shot was taken with the finished pic in mind.I wanted the sky to be as bland as possible,to make removal easier.Should anyone wish I will do a tutorial later.Its a good way to save a picture that would end up in the bin, and it is very easy to do.
