Mint Moth - Pyrausta aurata

This is a tiny moth, barely spotted it, but quite striking.

Well caught - they are tiny little beggars - and you got it's underwing as well - cool.

I was following a common Blue and this flew across my path, it was in the meadow at the back of the Moor Copse reserve.

When we went there I got a Mint Beetle.. so sounds only right that hey might have Mint Moths as well

Must be some wild mint there, certainly surprised to see the wild raspberry bushes in the wood, tasted lovely.
