I think he's going for an image make-over!

(He really needs to round about here. Magpies have been pestering the Blackbirds near their nests all spring, and are harassing the young fledglings now. . Not my favourite species - although they are very handsome birds.)

Yes they are pests I know and can be very aggressive. They tend to be very nosy too.
Just now and then I think they make a good photo though
