Large Skipper Butterfly laying eggs

She 'skipped' about the garden laying single eggs on blades of grass. Apparently the larval stage can last up to 330 days!!!!
I have never seen one of these in the garden before so was gobsmacked that the day after Rolf and I spent hours chasing them around a nature reserve, I spotted one in my back garden

Of course, I'm going to have to try and remember not to weed all of the grass that she laid eggs on (what a nusiance!!).

I think that we may also have spotted a 'Bail-Skipper' as well
