Rook or Crow

I plumped for Rook (although not 100% convinced) with the following reasoning:

- a sociable group is more likely to be Rook (although since it's Spring, it could be Crows getting together for mating).

- the beak appears to be straighter than a Crow, but not quite as heavy as a Rook.

- the beak seems to be paler, as opposed to the dark Crow beak.

I reckon a crow the rook has a white beak but as this is such a small image its hard to tell for certain

Lightening the image tends to reveal light beaks, would say Rooks, but not really sure.

They still look Crow-like to me. Their beaks seem neater and more streamlined in shape than Rooks' ones - but then I'm often wrong....

Looks like a Crow to me as well
A Rook's beak is almost white and has a much higher forehead

OK, I'll go with the consensus - I'll say it's Crows.... although I'm tempted by Billy's suggestion
