This moth larvae apparently likes Hawthorn (Crataegus), blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) and other trees and bushes. We don't have any Hawthorn of Blackthorn nearby but there must be something nice about as there were 2 in my bathroom.

It IS isn't it? I'm always surprised when hunting for an ID at how many coloured moths there are supposed to be as I never see any, so imagine my joy when I saw not just one, but 2 of these in my bathroom
