Doubtful that it would be a fledgling Beryl, but does look like a Wren.
Yes too early but I have never seen a wren with a black tuft under his bill/beak

I agree, Beryl - he IS a bit unusual!
The eye stripe seems much lighter/more prominent too.
Below is a little friend who was a bit concussed after hitting a window. He is very light under the 'chin'. Here also is a link to an American Winter Wren - clear eye-strip, but no 'dark beard' and with darker legs.

The second view above showing a long bill. Yours ha a long bill too They are different . Yours looks like a winter Wren. I can get over the little black area under it's bill and yes the very wide eye stripe. I may go back today and see if I can find him for a better shot.
All my resources tell me this is a Winter Wren.
