    Default Caution - Swan at Work!

    These 2 swans have decided to make a nest in a very busy spot. Swan Lifeline have put up this shield to give them some protection, and a sign telling people what to do. What makes me laugh is that you have to go up close to read it, which it tells you not to do, and it tells you not to loiter... which you need to do to read it

    If you look closely at the nest you will see some dark pink flowers - see - he really loves her, but she's too busy sleeping to notice

    I DO like the text of the sign too. I guess many people might think of leaving food as being kind, but the problems of doing so are well listed there!

    It is nice that instructions are given, it's very helpful (I didn't know that they didn't eat whist hatching). Swan etiquette is not on the curriculum anymore.... what is the world coming to
