    Excellent well timed shot of this 'Aylesbury' duck Beryl with the usual 'original' comment you seem to have the knack of producing and which never fails to 'add' to the picture.

    No it's not the Aylesbury It is one of 8 ducklings 5 leucistic and 3 normal two of each survived survived I have followed them and the parents from ducklings. The are not big enough to be the Aylsebury ducks and neither the same shape.

    Below is the mother with the ducklings one of which is the above now white.
    The mother is the noisiest duck in the park she is leucistic and had two siblings hatched the year before last. I sent a photo of them to the local paper and they were printed
    I'll see f I can find the mother as a chick as a chick

    The chick below is the mother of the duck with all the chicks and the photo of the two leucistic ducks are her sibling at a later stage
