Common Swift Moth - Hepialus lupulinus (possibly!)

I found this on my plant cover. A pretty thing, I think it's a Common Swift, but as usual, it's very close but not exactly like the piccies I found

It's about a centimetre long, maybe a mm or 2 longer (I used the rule of thumb - i.e I quickly stuck my thumb by it :-) )

Nice shots Louise, certainly looks like a Common Swift Moth, although moth identification I find sometimes very confusing.

Tell me about it - if only I had a pound for every time I've gone through the whole list of UKMoths and still couldn't decide!!!!
