Default Fieldfares in the Cider Orchard.

Over in France again for Christmas, the orchards are populated by throngs of Fieldfares and Starlings. Sorry about the grainy nature of a couple of the photos, it was slightly misty first thing.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

I have only ever seen one Fieldfare and you have a pic with lots of them in it, nice one they must be lovely to see . Have a great time in France , all the best for Christmas and the New Year.

Thanks Babs, I've made a couple of sound recordings as well, they are amazing to listen to.

It's after midnight here, so will be off to bed shortly, as we have a busy festive day tomorrow and I want to be out at first light to catch some more photos, it was minus 2 this morning when I went out, here is the rear paddock with its Mole problem.
