Default Mr & Mrs Blackbird - time for nesting

Having caught them in my front garden (well, I snapped her but he was being shy and hiding under the hedge), I went into the kitchen only to see them both 5 minutes later in the back garden - and she had a mouthful of leaves. She then flew off into the ivy... so hopefully they will stay this time (last year a pair started but gave up). The reason they abandoned it before was due to the cat appearing on the top of the fence, so I'm going to have to find a time when they aren't about to put something on the top to ensure that they can't get anywhere near.

Got one you can borrow, or is it too late?

I'm not sure if they are resident yet, I'd have to check, and I suppose itdepends upon how long it would take to set up.
Also, it wouldn't be 100% protected from the elements as it's just tucked in the ivy - is that ok?
