    This is my first post here, so i thought i would start with some shots i got of this Nuthatch while away on holiday in Scotland.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    welcome, tawny. absolutely stunning shots of one of my favourite birds!!.
    i love the way they adopt that 'bent' position when coming down a tree trunk

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Thanks everyone... it was a real treat for me to see this little bird so close as we dont get them in my area.
