Default Great Crested Grebe nesting - Podiceps cristatus

Whilst she sat their in her beautiful, crisp-packet-decorated nest - he was out working hard, collecting new sticks. When he got back he tried very hard to get the new stick onto the nest - but couldn't make it through all the branches with it sticking out of his mouth

Really good series Louise, love the nest building materials. The sad note is that the empty crisp packets are probably all to readily available and not biodegradable.
