    Default Chaffinch female or not?

    I'm not 100% about this bird. I want to think it is a Chaffinch female but it's head seams to be the wrong colour
    What do you think please.

    Looks like it could be Chocky, I presume that it had the customary wing markings?

    It's a nice photo but difficult . You are probably right. I just wasn't sure and the light could be making things different The weather was so bad.
