Yep - it's that time of year again - spiders galore!

This spider was first spotted making her web right outside the kitchen window by Rolf. She's one big spider, probably 'ripe for laying'. When I went to shoot her the next day she had moved into a a different web nearby. I couldn't get a shot that really showed her in her full 'fullness' - as usual, she just wouldn't 'play ball'

I've included a shot with my thumb in it for comparison.
