    Had never seen one with its wings spread, so wasn't sure what it was.

    I had my LED light on my head to aid focussing, near impossible otherwise.

    Yes - that's the issue - getting focus. I had a hand torch the other night, but that meant I on;y had one hand to steady the camera.... it didn't work too well
