    Camera :- Nikon D3100 used with Nikkor 70-300 F/4-5.6 VR Lens. Compact Camera :- Samsung V5.0 Tripod : - Yep, Good One. Binoculars :- Nikon 'Sport Lite' 10x25.

    Nice shots Philip, Jays can be really elusive, nice shot of the Blackbird in the snow and the hen pheasant as well.

    Have never managed that close to a Jay, Philip. I'm jealous!

    Love the Blackbird and Pheasant shots. Both birds are shown off so well against the snow

    Wonderful catch - that Jay is well in shot. The snow really helps make the birds stand out, doesn't it? Of course it also makes them less reticent to come out in the open - bad for them but good for you, obviously.
