High in a tree
Well spotted Beryl, lovely pic I don't get many thrushes in my garden just the odd one now and then, however about a mile away in a church yard there are trees full of them eating all the berries in sight. Only the the blackbirds eat my berries
Thank you Babs
These are very shy birds, If you see one check the spots. On the song thrush they are arrow shaped ( like spear hears rounded at the bottom and pointed at the top) and on the Mistle thrush they are completely round also the Mistle thrush has lighter markings on the wings. Lovely birds beautiful songs
Nice picture of the Song Thrush Beryl. Not the easiest of birds to find these days and not sure of the status to date but sure will find out.
Pete.
Thank you Pete.
It's status is RED. 1,144,000 breading territories in UK according to the RSPB
