    Default Red Admiral - Vanessa atalanta

    I thought I'd join the club This chappy kept circling around an open spot in 'the glade' on a rather dry bit of grass. Every now and then 2 or 3 of them wold have a bit of a barny in the air then one would settle on the ground within a square metre. It was like a roundabout

    I've included 2 full-on shots as the first one really allows you to see the marking on the body, whilst the second has the wings in focus.
