    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Well this morning this little Nuthatch was sampling everything on offer in the garden, fat, hearts, peanuts...........he looked at the niger but did not take

    Wonderful captures Babs, they certainly like to sample everything, I find the same here.

    Thanks for your comment rolf. I am really pleased because this is the first year they have visited me. Earlier on in the year it was a fleeting visit a couple of times but now it's everyday. This morning I waited for them an hour before they appeared but it was well worth the wait

    Sounds like they probably bred nearby Babs. Nice series of shots of the Nuthatch which can cling to a tree like nobodys business.

    Iv'e said things like this before but again.....lucky you to have a garden which will attract birds like the Nuthatch.
