I D needed please

I was watching a Great spotted woodpecker as it went round and behind the tree when suddenly this littl chap came singing merrily and landes on a branch. It's a fledgling of some sort and I thought it was a great spotted woodpecker. I think it probably is but the grey head abnd stripe through his/her eye baffles me.

A young nuthatch eh? It's amazing how differently coloured youngsters can be. Mind you, it does have the 'Zorro' mask and the spotty botty of the adults

Yes. Took I many of snaps and one does loo like Zoro , I said to my grand daughter Oh look The Lone Ranger
