    I wasn't too sure about the first two shots as his chest was so deeply coloured.

    I think it just depends on the light, Joe. He looks a healthy, well-fed chap in those first pics.

    It's mainly the angle and definition of the third one I like - together with the fact that it shows all its plumage colours!

    Once the sun (remember it?) returns, my cameras will be MUCH happier!
