Poor little Wren with Tick

Couldn't understand why this young Wren was merrily hopping around on the path in front of me until I saw that she probably couldn't see through her right eye. (edit)

Didn't seem distressed, but not sure whether a bird that small can survive too long with that sized tick, particularly being blind on one side.

That is so sad. Hope it drops off and doesn't do too much damage.
They can be dangerous to Humans

Oh dear! It doesn't look too good for it, does it? No chance of catching it to take it to a vet I guess?

I've never seen a tick on a bird before - it must be much more common on animals.
