    Default Mute Swan (Cygnus olor)

    Not rare or unusual but I rather like the way this pic of two stately swans has come out. Location was Leighton Moss nature reserve last Sunday

    I like the background - and the contrast of the water's horizontal lines with the grass's vertical ones.

    Nice to see the male allowing his lady to get most of the limelight. He looks a bit apologetic though. Wonder what he has been up to?

    Yep, nice compo - swans may not be unusual but I never tire of nice photos of them.
