    Default It was bath time this afternoon

    After quite a bit of rain, the birds took the opportunity to bathe in either the wet grass, or roll in the tree leaves, was fun to watch, these are the damp birds.

    Shame it looks like the juvenile Chaffinch is already showing signs of the parasite on its legs.

    I bet they were really glad to get a bit of a bath. A lovely set of shots.

    I feel sorry for the Chaffinches who have to suffer those warts, but most seem to manage - for a while at least.

    Like the Woodpigeon shot. They were funny here when we had the lawn sprinkler on - doing 'the wing thing' by leaning to one side and stretching out the wing on the other so it could be 'washed'!

    The BT is my favourite though. Oh to look so cute just after a bath or shower!
