Redwing on the wing

I went into my son's garden to see if I could capture a Redwing and low and behold one flew over. It's not fantastic being winter and not to much sun around. but it's good enough that you can see the red under the wings.

You certainly can Chocky, I've never seen a Redwing. I don't think we get them in my area but there again I may be wrong

They look just like Thrushes and have a reddish area just by its wing and under like in the pic. I have never seen one with open wings until now
