A Male Stonechat

This little fellow was flying back and forth defending his territory and called to his mate.
Unfortunately the video isn't fantastic trying to capture these little birds is really some thing .
They are fascinating t and very pretty.

chocky, type fyldebirdclub.org into google. when you reach homepage click on recent sightings. this is the website for local bird sightings around where i live. there are some fantastic photos on there. there are some excellent ones of stonechats. it will give you an idea of what we see up here. i thinks its worth a look at the pictures they are very good.

it just shows how location makes a really big difference to what we see.
birds and animals one might find common, others might not, and vice versa.
