Hadn't seen one of thse before, but he certainly didn't seem too bothered by me kneeling a short distance away, they are quite a small Goose.
Branta leucopsis
Awwww. He's lovely . I think he's watching you
Great captures.
Branta leucopsis,Rolf, I have enough problems pronouncing Barnacle Goose.
Brilliant pics.
LOL, I included the Latin name, because it adds another dimension to the search engine information, anything to attract new members.
That was taken with my little Fuji S5000, was the only camera I had in the van.
The sheer friendliness of the site and the helpful comments that are made should have prospective members banging on the door.Heck Toots wouldnt go anywhere near the internet until she join the site, now I have to stand guard over the door to stop her getting into the computer room
LOL, I can see a laptop arrival for Christmas then.
Lol. I have withdrawal symptoms when my son comes round to use my PC for 20 minutes.
She has a laptop but its not connected to the internet.Gonna have to get the Ram increased.Light room slows it down too much at present and its lightroom she is learning.I did connect it to the internet to update windows. It had never been connected before......178 updates,it took me all day.
Just upgraded my RAM in the old laptop, for the same reason, doubled it to half a gig and now Photoshop works at a reasonable speed, as does Olympus Master. Would like to go to 1 gig, but I would need to swap out both modules.
Pain those updates.
Lol.I hate that when I reformat update after update
need a gig for the lightroom thing to keep it up to speed. Will find out the cost first unbenown to Toots and if its to expensive will say nowt (nothing)
You don't think she might read this thread DD?
Whoops, mmmmmm
How much do you pay where you are for a one gig stick ddr ?
£70 in Exmouth Computers
Is that for laptop memory Chocky? It needs to be SO-DIMM, which is a more compact DIMM (Small Outline - Dual Inline Memory Module) and normally more expensive.
I will let you know when I have had a look around Chocky.Normally I would buy on line but there is no way I am going inside a Laptop
Adding RAM on laptops is normally very easy, simply unscrewing a small panel on the bottom, took a couple of minutes on mine. What make and model is yours DD.
No. You two have left me behind I have never added cards or memory to a laptop only a PC
