most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

Default roe buck at lightfoot green preston.

i startled this handsome chap, tonight, on an after tea stroll around lightfoot pools, preston. i was trying to get near to a singing blackcap ( but to no avail). when i noticed, out of the corner of my eye, something running away from me. it stopped briefly, just long enough to get a couple of shots through my scope. i could see the velvet on his antlers. a nice bonus for the night!!

Nice captures Andy, quite a feat with a scope, as they don't stay still for long.

Lovely captures andy, there are still a lot of Roe deer around Preston /Blackburn area I see them quite often driving through the country lanes. The junior school I went to 50 years ago was called Roe Lee Park County Primary.
