    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Great shots Babs, I recognise the courting pose of the first shot, often accompanied by swaying of the neck and head from side to side. Trying to get a video of it. :

    Cheers Chocky and rolf, I didn't have much time with this shot becasue it was so quick and quite high up but this is the sharpest of the bunch. There was a third Robin trying to get a look in and was obviouslywas chased off.

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    rolf, that's not a courtship pose.... he's just swallowed one of babs' bananas.....sorry!! excellent shots babs, there really has been some very good robin entries just lately.
