Olympus E-30, Sigma 50-500mm Lens, Sigma 150mm Macro lens, Zuiko 70-300mm lens, Sigma 50mm F1,4 lens, Extension tube, 1.4x tele-converter, Carbon FibreTripod, Monopod, Vanguard Binoculars, Celestron 80F-ED Scope, Remembird recorder.

    Default Redstart at Lavell's lake

In full breeding plumage, such a handsome bird, was quite a way off so not great photos. He was making the most of the large Blackberries.

Also saw a Spotted Flycatcher, but couldn't get a photo, great shame.

Great photos of a beautiful bird, Rolf!

I've never seen one in Britain - only in France.

A nice catch - something to mark up as a special sighting.
